I completed my Masters degree in biochemistry/molecular biology, cell biology and biophysics in 2009 at the University of Ruprecht-Karls Heidelberg in Germany.

After graduating successfully, I taught various levels of biology and chemistry at the International Europa School and the Rahn Schulen in Cairo in English and German, familiarizing myself with the International Baccalaureate (IB) syllabus. I was responsible for all Biology and Chemistry Projects at school specially for sustainable projects and created my own materials for this. I now have over 14 years of experience with the international curriculum in both subjects.

Besides my professional career I started an apprenticeship at the Goethe Institute in Cairo (Teaching Diplom). As part of the Teaching Diploma, I was able to deal with the specialist knowledge in the field of methodology and didactics. I have been working at the Goethe-Institute Cairo as a certified teacher and examiner in German language. I teach various levels from A1 to C2. I prepare the materials to be taught didactically in order to convey them to the students in the best possible way. My tasks also include setting up and supervising online blended learning on the Moodle learning platform and the technology for using digital media in the classroom.
