I worked as an English/Language Arts teacher in middle and high schools for 5 years in the U.S. I loved my work, but the economy forced many state budget cuts, so I moved out of teaching in schools to teaching about a different subject in the private sector. However, I miss teaching English! I taught English language and literature because those subjects are my passion. I read avidly, like to discuss/analyze literature, truly appreciate the writing process, and can really get into any literature genre, from novels to plays to poetry, etc. I enjoy interacting with students, and feel I learn something from them! I am personable, yet I push my students towards achievement.
