I was born into a family of teachers since both my parents and siblings
were members of this profession. Though I have tried other forms of
employment, none has offered the sense of fulfillment I derive from
teaching. I am happiest in my job when I can help a student to realize
his or her fullest potential.

I consider myself to be a versatile teacher. For several years, I have
successfully taught four (4) subjects towards the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC) and GCE O ’Level Examinations.

My strongest teaching areas are, however, Mathematics and Accounts.

I like challenges and am motivated by the successes of my students,
particularly those that others may find difficult to teach. My
philosophy is that learning has taken place, when I am able to take a
student from one level to a higher one, while recognizing the
individual differences in us.

Teaching in several countries has given me experience in dealing with
students from diverse cultural backgrounds. This I see as important to
my professional development. I am not only willing to contribute my
abilities wherever I can, but also learn innovative methodology to
make the learning/teaching experience an enjoyable one.
