I have a deep passion for teaching and learning. This love and passion have grown with me as I've grown from a student to an educator. It continues growing as I continue growing as an educator. As an educator, I strive to be effective. I also try my best to involve students in my lessons and to help build their self-efficacy. I enjoy working with teenagers and adults and helping them to become better individuals who would make a positive contribution to society.

I've been an educator for approximately thirteen (13) years, I started teaching after I completed my BSc in Mathematics in August 2009. I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Education-Mathematics in 2014. I am currently in the process of completing my Master’s in Education, as well as, my TEFL Level 5 certificate. I've taught mixed ability classes in Grades 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 consisting of 7-45 students per class.

As a teacher, I prepare lesson plans for each learning session and provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for my students to help stimulate their learning. I have three (3) years of experience using online platforms to deliver lessons. I try to build good relationships with students, parents, and teachers so we can work collectively to ensure that the education of our students comes first and that we can develop individuals who have good academic and social skills.
